The tracker has a dedicated SOS button that, once pressed, will start a process of sending push notfications to your smartphone as well as sending SMS and calling to pre-set authorised telephone numbers. For the SOS function to work, the tracker must be set up with up to 3 phone numbers (ideally mobile numbers).
Bulldog Tracking can set up the SOS calling function for you. Simply complete the form below and we will programme your tracker with your chosen numbers. Once set up, when the SOS button is pressed for more than two seconds, the tracker will vibrate to confirm the SOS process has begun as follows:
- The tracker will send an SMS to ALL phone numbers providing details as follows (see here for details of SMS)
- Telephone number 1 will be called. If the call is not answered (by a person or voicemail), telephone number 2 will be called. If the call is not answered (by a person or voicemail), telephone number 3 will be called.
- A push notification will be sent to ALL users that is logged into our tracking app with permission to view the tracker.
