• If the key enters the lock and will not turn clockwise check that it is the correct key for the product and that there is no damage to the key and that it is not bent.

• If the key enters the lock and will only turn a quarter turn clockwise the key has not been inserted far enough and needs to withdrawn and re inserted. It may also be possible that a small piece of dirt or debris has entered the lock  preventing the key from being inserted fully if so then flood the lock with WD40 to flush the debris out. If compressed air is available then blow the lock out ensuring that the correct protective equipment is used.
